The animals do not need to adapt to their environment because they are their environment, or at least an intricate part of it. They cannot be separated from it. They were born into a world in which they fit perfectly. They do not need to wonder what they will eat or how they will live or even if they will live. They are born and they simply live. It is enough.
How many people would give a small fortune to have that
comfort in their heart? To just know
that being born, being alive, is enough.
It is all that is required, and the Earth is our home and provides food
and shelter.
But it is not that simple, you say. And I say, it is.
