embracing the fierce
cold.
Ice giants of old
gods of the far north
creeping out of their
lair
raging across the
land
scraping all life
away
to start anew.
Old mountains
destroyed
and new mountains
built
sheets of solid rock
blown around like
dandelion seeds
landing tenderly
