DANCING LIGHT
tiny bits of sun
falling from the
sky
a transient gift
sparkling atop the
waves
the water grasping
for the baptism of
light
that dances on the
surface
and slips through
its fingers
then jumps to the shore
to warm the cliffs
and fly with the
birds
back to heaven
